Solid in build is this Primitive Oak Burl Wood Foot Stool, Table.
Simplistic Furniture for the homes d้cor one boldly defines with originality.
The top of the small table is set upon by a crosscut section of contrasting dark, to golden ringed burl wood. Edges and surfaces are satin finished and silky smooth to the touch.
Its creatively crude and stout semi-finished support legs (smartly inter-braced) have been given an extra touch of spatula applied saw dust paste, to focal points of joints. Hardware locations too are concealed with this same primitive method.
The maker is unknown, but seeing such wood working its apparent to have been done by those knowledgably in furniture building, and crafted purposefully as a primitive construct of centuries past.
On the underneath of the top section is marked: 040
